How is The Arthur Jackson Company responding to the COVID-19 pandemic?

As part of our core values, The Arthur Jackson Company has been working individually with property managers and building owners. We have identified their needs as well as designed and implemented enhanced procedures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. Click here to learn about how we are training our team members.

How will cleaning be different during this time?

Our employees are being trained to identify, clean and sanitize designated high contact surfaces. Frequency of cleaning is established with property managers and building owners for each location. All employees will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and will use EPA-registered disinfectants according to CDC guidelines.

What are the high contact surfaces that need to be cleaned and sanitized more regularly?

High contact surfaces include but are not limited to: handrails, door knobs, key cards, light switches, countertops, sinks, water faucets and handles, work surfaces, computer keypads, elevator buttons, toilets, restroom stall handles, paper dispensers, door handles and push plates, water coolers and drinking fountains.

Is The Arthur Jackson Company using special cleaning solutions or equipment?

The Arthur Jackson Company uses CDC-approved, EPA-registered cleaners and disinfectants effective in preventing the spread of the Novel Coronavirus. The Arthur Jackson Company has also invested in modern electrostatic sprayers like Clorox 360 and other mechanical sprayer devices to disinfect larger areas.

How will The Arthur Jackson Company clean an area if a client’s employee or a visitor tests positive for COVID-19 onsite?

The Arthur Jackson Company has developed protocols to protect your facility and your employees after a positive test has been reported.

Starting with property manager or tenant communication of the incident, the area will be closed immediately (for at least 24 hours). Our response team also suggests increasing the air circulation (if possible).

Before entering an area with a reported infection, an employee from The Arthur Jackson Company will don necessary PPE. The employee will follow CDC Guidance Protocol for cleaning and disinfecting areas affected by a positive case. If disinfectant fogging or an ionizing spray is required, a trained employee will ensure the area is closed to the public, spray surfaces using a disinfectant sprayer and allow drying for one hour.

When finished, the employee will place all used cleaning materials and PPE into a plastic trash bag and dispose of the bag as ordinary waste.
